Richard J. Ricketts Sr. Community Center - Request for Qualifications
Youth Community Center Operations and Related Services

The Borough of Pottstown is accepting Requests for Qualifications from qualified organizations interested in operating youth programming, adult fitness center programming, and community outreach on a year-round basis at the Richard J. Ricketts Community Center.  The Richard J. Rickets Sr. Community Center is a Borough-owned community center located at 640 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA, 19464.

The Fountain of Youth Spray Park will close for the season on Monday, August 26th as playground construction is slated to begin. Thank you for another great season!

The Memorial Park Pedestrian Bridge and Bark Park are closed until further notice while storm damage is being assessed. We are working diligently to address all issues. Stay tuned for further updates.

Maple Street Tennis Courts

The Maple Street Tennis Courts are leased in-part to Greater Pottstown Tennis Learning.  Hours to the public are however, provided weekly. Some GPTL programs are also open to Borough residents.  Please inquire at GPTL's website.

To obtain access for Tennis Court use during public hours, a user agreement must be submitted.  Hours will change seasonally and a form must be completed each calendar year.

Manatawny Green is under the management of the Carousel of Pottstown for the 2019 season. Opening day is Friday, May 3rd. Please stop in for a round of golf this season!

This new website boasts information on local recreation events in Pottstown and neighboring communities. It’s a comprehensive recreation calendar with events for all ages, including community days, free concerts, school district events, sports tournaments, and food and drink festivals.

Parks and Recreation provides educational and recreational programming for all ages at an affordable cost. In addition, we maintain and manage the 13 parks in the borough. Park facilities include the Fountain of Youth Spray Park, Trilogy BMX, a skateboard park, a miniature golf course, ball fields, picnic pavilions, tennis courts, Riverfront walking trail, the Bark Park, and age appropriate playground equipment.

The Borough Parks are available for rental for private events. If you are interested in making a reservation, please complete the Facility Rental Request.
