Council Meeting Access and Public Comment Notice

Due to the current Disaster Emergency Declaration declared by Governor Wolf and the local Emergency Declaration declared by Borough of Pottstown related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as permitted by Act 15,  Pottstown Borough Council has altered the process of conducting its advertised Committee of the Whole and Council Meetings until further notice. Public participation at this meeting shall be limited to remote access, via computer, tablet, smartphone, or phone.  This will allow any member of the public to indicate he or she would like to speak and offer comments during the public comment portion of the meetings.  Residents and taxpayers who wish to participate or listen to the meetings may call-in or log-in.  Directions for connection to and participation in the meetings will be published on the Borough’s publicly accessible website prior to the scheduled meeting.  In addition, the meetings will be streamed live using the Go-To-Meeting platform.  The meetings will be recorded and posted to the website within 24 hours of the meeting.
