I started my career with Pottstown in 2014, and am currently assigned to the Detective Division. Prior to that I served as a patrol officer. I have had the honor to serve as a Field Training Officer, Honor Guard member, and Accident Reconstruction Team. Pottstown has afforded me the opportunity to further my career in law enforcement through numerous trainings and hands on experience. Pottstown Police Department has been, and continues to be, a department that I am excited to come to work each shift to continue to learn, gain new experiences and serve the community.

I am Officer Fischer, badge # 155, with the Pottstown Police Department. Why am I here? I have been with Pottstown PD since 2013. In my time here, I have been a Patrol Officer, a Detective, and the School Resource Officer. I am currently assigned to Special Operations; I am a current member of the Montgomery County Drug Task Force, and I am an Operator on the Montgomery County SWAT Team. Pottstown PD gave me these career opportunities, put me through the academy, continued training me thereafter and places the opportunity for growth and advancement at your hands.

The Pottstown Police Department has been, and continues to be, a great place to work. I have been employed by the Pottstown Police for almost 15 years. During that time, I have been provided with multiple opportunities to learn and grow professionally. I have been a patrol officer, was on the community response/narcotics unit, and am currently assigned to the detective division. I have been sent to numerous schools and trainings, and still have new opportunities to work towards, including promotions for rank within the department. Furthermore, the Borough of Pottstown offers an excellent example of community policing as our department prides itself in working closely with our community members and leaders. I look forward to continuing my career with the Pottstown Police Department.
