Dance is back!

Our highly sought after dance program with our fabulous instructor, Miss Amber, is up and running with our new online registration system for the fall. Please visit our online system to find class offerings, times, prices, and to register your child for this awesome program!

Registration opens on August 20, 2021.  You will first have to "Create an Account". A cool feature: when building your child's profile, opt in for the text message feature to stay up to date on class cancellations due to inclement weather, etc. 

All classes will be held at the Ricketts Community Center, 658 Beech Street

Please note, class sizes will be strictly enforced at 12 maximum. All COVID best practices will be enforced. if you missed your opportunity to register, be sure to add your child to the waitlist option, as this helps us determine if can build another class on Tuesday nights!

All dance classes begin the week of September 13, 2021

Ballet class offerings:  Residents $135, Non-residents $145

Ballet classes are held on Monday evenings

Preschool Ballet: Ages 3-5 at 6:00pm and 6:30pm

Preschool boys and girls will learn basic ballet steps and combinations. This activity promotes coordination, flexibility, and timing and develops listening skills and enthusiasm for learning. Ballet shoes are necessary.

Beginner Ballet: Ages 6-12 at 7:00pm

Children ages 6-12 can participate in this introductory course with little or no prior experience. We begin with basic steps and combinations and build towards improving grace and coordination. Beginners Ballet can build the basis for a long-term passion for healthy and active living. Ballet shoes are necessary.

Intermediate/Advance Ballet: Ages 8-12 at 7:30pm

Out intermediate classes offer a chance for dance students to advance through more challenging steps and combinations. This is an excellent course for dancers who have already attended our beginners' classes. Prior experience is a prerequisite. Intermediate/Advanced Ballet offers a rewarding and fun learning experience. Ballet shoes are necessary.

Tap/Jazz class offerings: Residents $150, Non-residents $160

Tap/Jazz classes are held on Wednesday evenings

Preschool Tap and Jazz; Ages 3-5 at 6:00pm and 6:30pm

Tap and Jazz is elegance that is still coo. You will be amazed at how quickly our students' coordination and energy grows with each class. We start with basic steps and combinations, building confidence, coordination, and improving key listening and learning skills. No prior experience required. Tap shoes and jazz shoes are necessary.

Beginner Tap and Jazz; Ages 6-12 at 7:00pm

Tap and Jazz Beginner classes require no prior experience.  Students will learn the basics and advance to simple steps and combinations. Dance is an activity that is elegance and still cool. Classes promote fun and active lifestyles and build lifelong learning skills. Students should expect to come away from the experience with confidence, coordination, and an enthusiasm for learning. Tap shoes and jazz shoes are necessary.

Intermediate/Advanced Tap and Jazz: Ages 8-12 at 7:30pm, Advanced by invitation only ages 12-15

This is the class to take if you have been through beginner's classes or have had prior dance experience. Our advanced course builds upon established skills to teach more challenging steps and combinations. Expect students to come away with increased confidence and energy as they build skills and memories that will last a lifetime. Tap shoes and jazz shoes are necessary.

MasterCard, Discover & Visa are accepted. A third-party convenience fee will apply to cardholders who wish to pay via credit card. This fee is required in order to allow the Township the option to accept payments via credit card. Govt Portal is an authorized third-party processor of these regulated convenience fees. This fee will be 2.83% .
