CARES Community Tool Share Program

Pottstown CARES has also formed a Community Tool Share Program. A tool share shed is located on The Hill School property, on Sheridan Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets, from which community members may borrow equipment on an honor system basis.

Tools from the Tool Share are available to anyone working on improvement and beautification projects in the Borough of Pottstown. Tools are utilized for volunteer purposes only, and there is no monetary compensation being provided for services rendered.

All items loaned, are returned in the same or better condition than they were loaned in.

Any items which are damaged or destroyed will be replaced by the borrower.

In order to grow the stock of equipment available, it is asked that upon return of the borrowed equipment, community members donate one additional new or gently used item.
