Hydrant flushing takes place twice per year, in the spring and fall. The first goal is to remove sediment that may accumulate in the mains. The second goal is to operate every hydrant to ensure that they are in operating condition if required for an emergency.
2019 Fall daytime flushing is anticipated to begin September 23rd. Flushing will be done between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. If your water appears brown or rust colored, run the cold water for a few minutes until it is clear. If you have any questions, please contact Public Works at 610-970-6527.
