Ringing Rocks Skate Parties 1st through 5th Grades

  • Wednesday, March 18 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

  • $3.00 in advance at the Parks and Recreation Office / $4.00 at the rink
  • $1.00 skate rental at the rink
  • Music/skating ends at 8:00 p.m.
  • Children must be picked up no later than 8:15 p.m.

Greenways Together at Pottsgrove Manor

Join Schuylkill River Greenways staff for a FREE tour of the historic Pottsgrove Manor with a special demonstration. The mansion was built in 1752 for John Potts, ironmaster and founder of Pottstown.

Veterans’ Island Project Car/Bike Show

Bark for Life of Pottstown

Rain Garden Installation at Pottstown Riverfront Park

  • Coming this April. Check for updates at SchuylkillRiver.org
  • What is it? A rain garden is an area of land filled with flowering perennials and grasses which collects rain water and allows it to soak into the ground. Rain gardens help filter out pollutants in runoff and provide food and shelter for butterflies, song birds, and other wildlife.
  • How to Help: Schuylkill River Greenways is looking for volunteers to help with the install of the rain garden and general maintenance along the trail.

Schuylkill River Greenways is once again partnering with FCM Hospitality, the creators of Philadelphia’s successful "Parks on Tap" series, and local breweries to bring a mobile beer garden to riverside locations this summer.
