Parks and Recreation Reopening Plan
The Borough of Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department has developed this reopening plan for parks, facilities, amenities, programs and events in the Pottstown Park System. This plan is based on specific guidelines and restrictions for recreation developed by Governor Wolf and the Pa Recreation and Park Society. The complete PA Parks and Recreation Reopening Guidelines can be viewed here. The goal of this plan is to ensure the health and safety of park visitors and program participants. Each “Phase” refers to the phase that the Governor’s Office has classified Montgomery County as being in related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please note that during the transition period between phases, park visitors should allow up to two weeks for facilities and amenities to be reopened by staff unless otherwise noted. Please note that this plan is subject to revision upon any further guidance provided by local, county, state and/or federal agencies. Please contact Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department with questions: 610-970-6608.
