The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment of professional, qualified employees, benefits administration and management, salary administration and job classification, training and development, records management, employee relations, and human resources information systems. It also serves as a liaison for collective bargaining and contract management for the AFSCME union and Police union for the Borough of Pottstown.
