Property transfers require a full code compliance inspection before the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. These documents will help you through the process.
Residential Rental Inspection
A rental inspection is required on a biennial basis according to Rental Zone. A tenant list be submitted annually by January 31st of each year.
All residential rental units must be registered with the Borough of Pottstown. Contact Licensing and Inspections for more information.
Commercial Occupancy Inspections
A Commercial Occupancy Inspection is required:
- Upon Zoning Approval
- Prior to opening or relocating a business
