The Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department
offers a wide variety of programs and activities. The parks system includes the
River Front Park where you can enjoy a peaceful walk along the Schuylkill River
or Memorial Park with its many athletic fields. Memorial Park also has a memorial
to fallen war heroes, a play area for kids, and picnic areas. The Parks Department
also maintains a number of neighborhood parks that provide residents activities
close to their home.
The Community Center provides year round programs
for the residents of Pottstown. Contact the Parks and Recreations Department
for more information on the activities at the Center.

Our 2007 Summer Adventure Camp will be hosting a variety show at the Memorial
Park Bandstand on Wednesday, August 1, 2007. Each of our sites will be creating
and practicing their acts during the Summer Camp. The theme this year is The
Game(s) of Life. Come and join us for a night of fun!!

If you would like to order a videotape or DVD in advance, please make your request
at registration. Videotapes will be available for pickup mid-August. Orders will
also be accepted at the Talent & Variety Show.
